*Sigh* R.I.P. Khan

Ricardo Montalban died today at 88.

Of course we remember him as Mr. Roark on Fantasy Island and as Khan in Star Trek.

He was truly one of a kind actor that epitomized class and sophistication. Plus, let's be honest, the guy was ripped, even when he was in his 60s... Damn!

He's been confined to a wheelchair in recent years, thankfully it seems it was quick and painless for him. My thoughts go out to his family.

(There goes another one, dang it sucks getting older...)

I suspect his chest in Star Trek II was fake, but I don't know that for a fact. It just looks fake.

Actually no, it was real. He commented on it at the time - that it was a lot of work to get it back to that shape but he thought it was important for him to really be that pumped up.
