At work (don't tell anyone...)
May. 19th, 2002 02:10 pmSlow day at office. Working Sundays can be like that. Sometimes crazy busy, sometimes not a thing to do.
Watched news this morning. Cheney sounded upbeat but underneath you know he's a squirming whenever questions about Enron crop up... Goodie, goodie, goodie... ~_~
Went with Donna and an old friend of hers to the Huntington Library. Very neat place. If you ever wanted to see a Gutenberg Bible, well they have one there... He only paid $50,000 for it...in 1914 or something like that.
Biggest problem there was parking and the long walks through the extensive garden. You want rare plants... They got them there. Too bad though that some morons decided it would be fun to carve their initials into the bamboo trees. (Most were about 30-40 feet tall. Jerks!)
Maybe see Spiderman today. Heard EP II beat it this weekend but only has made $84 million. Funny, I think there is still time today to add to that total. Look out Spidey.
