Saw 'Iron Chef - USA' on UPN other night... Shatner as 'Chairman? Bad! Iron Chefs? Worse! Overall concept of the program? Ugh!!!
I want Fukui-san! I want Otah! I want Kaga-sama!!
Sparklers on the main entree?? Ain't that a fire hazard?? (The food looked acceptable though, I'll be fair on that.)

U.S. Government recommending American citizens to leave India and Pakistan as soon as possible due to threat of Nuclear War! And the talking heads on CNN are saying that the 'initial' death toll from a nuclear exchange between these guys is going ot be 18 million people. Good God people, get a clue!
Flying out to see Grandmother today. She's ill with pancreatic cancer. (Yes, the same thing that killed Michael Landon) Don't know how much time she has left. Want to make the most of the time she has. How I feel about this? Okay most of the time, but it does sneak up on me at other times. Any prayers, good vibes or whatever is always welcome.
Gotta go pack. Will check in from Tennessee most likely.
