Grandmother Update...

Spoke to my mom today. Things are progressing pretty much as expected. But the folks from Hospice are a big help. They're making sure my Grandmother's comfortable. I don't know exactly what they are using to manage her pain, I imagine Demoral or something of the like, but she's in no pain at this time. She's just getting weaker day by day.

(sigh)

'The nature of the beast,' said I. Not much else to say. Thankfully, there's someone there all the time. *Grins* She had 8 children and my mom and her sisters have been doing rotating shifts if something needs doing. I want to be there, but in reality, I'd just be in the way. So I call and keep tabs and pray. Not much else to do from California. Donna and I are going to Hawaii at the end of the month. If we need to change our plans, so be it. Some things are more important than others.
