Weekend Update

unclejimboWell, my mom flew in on Friday night and we did the tourist thing Saturday. Took he to the ocean, Beverly Hills and Hollywood before settling at the Universal City Walk. Had dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe which was pretty neat and went walking around the stores and seeing what there was to see...
Tonight, I go off to work and have the day off tomorrow. Big event this week is that we're hosting Thanksgiving at Our Hause and are going to have like 13 people here.
Not much else to say. Mom is looking better than she has in a while. She took the death of her mom really hard last year and it took a while to get her through the grieving process... She's here, she's happy and best of all she's not scared so it's all good.
Now we have to find an extra ticket to Disneyland. :)
