Another Giant Step Backward...

NASA has decided to cancel the final Hubble Space Telescope servicing mission. The "reason" given was there isn't enough time to fit it in before the shuttle is "retired".

So basically, we're pissing away another space asset because it is doesn't fit in with someone's political agenda.
