Yes, I know I'm a day late. I was just didn't get around to posting yesterday.

*Sigh*

[livejournal.com profile] kyburg (my wife), now she posts much more often. So there you have it. ^^

Hope you all have had a safe and happy new year's weekend. I'm working tonight but am off the next two days so I actually get to watch the Orange Bowl if I want and see who wins the National Championship.

I live in SoCal, so I'm rooting to USC. I know friends are rooting for Oklahoma. Let the best team win.

Still bummed that Texas won the Rose Bowl. Last minute frickin' kick to win... Crap. Understand, the only thing I have against Texas right now is Bush. Unfortunately, that's quite large right now. [livejournal.com profile] kyburg and I will not travel to Florida until Jeb Bush is removed from office. (God help this country is that idiot is 'elected' to the white house.)

Oh well, 2005. Let's see what you got.

You have a very cynicall outlook on life. So what if Jeb is Gov of Florida... doesn't make it a bad place to go still. Besides, you have a Republican Govenor too, good'ol Arnie!

I am a UCLA fan by default. Both parents at one time or another worked for UCLA, and I have a cousin I dislike who graduated from USC. NOt only that, a lot of the snobby kids I went to high school with were USC fans and made fun of UCLA, so I am a UCLA fan. *g*

Yes, I know their football program has been shite for the last few years, so what? ;)

As for Texas and Florida... I think the last time I was in Texas was 1993 (Ann Richards was still in office then, I think) and the last time I was in Florida was 1978... or so.

Have a look at my most recent LJ posts... I had a shock when I got home early this morning...

I didn't vote for Ah-nuld either. ^^

Cynical? Perhaps, but I sure don't like the direction BushCo is taking this country. If denying them a few of my hard earned dollars is a way of protest, that's my right.

Anyways, it's only my opinion. Don't take it too seriously... Besides it WAS only a football game. The really good ones are going to be on today and tomorrow.
