Well, today has to rank at just about 9 on the Suckage Meter...
Woke up, looked at the news and saw 31 more kids killed in Iraq. Nice one, Georgie! It grew to 37 by the time I went home from work.
Got to work and found out I had been exposed to scabies. (Narsty little critters that burrow under your skin and make you itch. Normal hygiene is the best defense against them, BTW.) Now Donna and I have to smear this cream all over ourselves to kill off any eggs the narsty little critters left under our skin. Also had to wash the sheets in REALLY hot water (and bleach, just to be sure) to make sure we got 'em all...
And the best for last, some Fucktard left his God-damned SUV on the train tracks in a failed attempt to kill his sorry ass and managed to kill 11 or more people and destroyed two commuter trains and a locomotive.
Story Here
Right now, waiting for the sheets to finish drying so Donna and I can get showered and smeared in the lotion.
Delightful.
Just a bit grumpy right now... Need to watch it. Not fair to take it out on those around me...

Date: 2005-01-27 05:15 am (UTC)I think the lotion I was on was called kwell or something. The shit NEVER went away, either. I kept getting flare-up well into my teenage years.

Date: 2005-01-27 02:58 pm (UTC)I have had the good fortune to never have been exposed to that... Lice are really hard to get rid of, short of shaving yourself bald and burning all of your clothes...
