Still at Anime Expo

unclejimboCon going on. Pretty cool overall. Had to tend to animals at home so didn't get there until almost 1 PM. Parking was a bitch!
Cosplayers were out in force, including a group which had a Princess Leia, Luke, several stormtroopers and old Darth Vader himself! (Got picture. Will have it developed soon... Note to self, need digital camera!!!)
AMV awards last night didn't happen due to poor planning by the AX staff. (A clue guys, do not start rendering the final tape the DAY of the awards! Rahr!) We stood outside for 2 hours waiting to get in and after everyone got in and seated, that was when the morons decided to postpone the show for 8 hours. (was held at 8 AM on Saturday. No, Donna and I didn't get up to see it.) Going to gripe session tomorrow to have a few words about that.
In other news, having Exhibitor badges rock! There was a huge line to get into the dealer's room. (Almost a city block long. Stretched out of the building and onto the skywalk.) With the Exhibitor's badge, Donna and I just walked right by that line.
Why we got the badges you ask? Well, we are the official West Coast AV team for Animeigo. So there. (Okay, we let them use our extra TV and DVD player... Still get the badges though.)
Hotel room has been good. It will be sad to have to let the DSL line go when we check out in the morning. Wish we could take it home with us...
That's about it. Going to bed.
