Well, this weekend sucks!

unclejimboFirst, Donna gets sick, then the damn bathtub, sinks, toilets decide they need to back up...
Roto Rooter is here now cleaning out our main line, all told, it's gonna cost $300+ to get it all taken care of.
What a pain in the ass.
And now we have a good reason to get rid of our ficus(sp?) tree. It is apparently messing up the main line to the sewer, thus the problems with the toilets and the tub.
(Oh joy, oh rapture...)
*sigh*
In other news, the shuttle got off today without blowing up and NASA seems hopeful that there were no pieces of foam coming away during liftoff. (I say again, "Gentlemen, Paint the Fucking Tank!") So begins the next phase of station construction.
Then we'll be done with the shuttle, and (maybe) in 2012, we'll have the Orion capsules... Ugh!
I thought we were supposed to go forward in spaceflight development, not backwards... Or, perhaps we're doing what we should have done in conjuntion with the shuttle. Then again, what do I know, right?
