As odd as this sounds, I didn't know Leona Helmsley was still alive until now.

She should have served more than 21 months. That's nothing. The "little" people get harsher sentences for tax evasion. I had a landlord who was convicted, and served 3 years. And I doubt it was for 1.2 million either.

I remember when she was in the news with the "only little people pay taxes" crack. She was a bitch in the fullest sense of the term and truly earned the name of 'Queen of Mean'. Between her and Marge Schott I don't know who was a worse human being.

I hope Karma takes a big bite out her ass.
