Good News / Bad News
Feb. 27th, 2003 09:57 pmThe good news, Amazon has finally shipped Masters of Orion 3. It should be in my hot little hands very soon... Now all I need is a computer that will run it... ^^
The bad news: Fred Rogers died today at his home in Pittsburgh. Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood was a show I think everyone has seen at least once. He was a kind, gentle man who love children and wanted to make the world better, even if it was with a little show on PBS. A show he produced for over 30 years. And he was one of the key leaders in the fight against Barney!
The nice thing is he left us with so much of himself. PBS will run Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood for the forseeable future. It is still a wonderful show for children and stands up well even after all this time.
Goodbye, Fred. We'll see you after a while.
