Well, I voted...
Mar. 2nd, 2004 11:14 pmI think you all can guess who I didn't vote for...
The sad news is the Ah-nuld's two ballot measures (mainly the $15 Billion extortion bond) is passing by a wide margin. Stupid lemmings. Don't they see that the debt will still be there, with interest, and there will be no real change. Worse, a measure to get more money for classrooms and school repairs went down to defeat. "We want better education for our children, we just don't want to pay for it..."
*sigh*
Still, support for a Repugnican challenger to Barbara Boxer is less than they hoped. The challenger will be Bill Jones... (<-- who the heck is that?)
I was somewhat surprised to see Lyndon LaRousse on the ballot here in CA. I thought that nut-job was dead by now.
Still, with Kerry's big win tonight, we have a definite candidate to get behind against Bush. He may not be a lot of our first choise, but he can get the job done with our support.
In other news, we found my passport. It was 'set aside' at the post office for what ever reason (insert Bushie conspiracy of choise here), but
kyburg picked it up on her way home from work.
