Bad news: Harvey Korman, aka Hedley Lamarr, has passed away. He and Tim Conway were just about attached at the hip since their time at the Carol Burnett Show. He played the consummate straight man but could go goofy at the drop of a hat, a trait Mel Brooks made great use of in Blazing Saddles.

Good news: Mars Phoenix has unstowed its robotic arm. All things look good and the mission is progressing well. The fun part is that the arm is designed to look underneath the spacecraft. So we'll get a look at the underside of Phoenix and see how the rockets that cushioned the landing affected the terrain.

Busy, busy day. Have to get blood drawn this morning and make arrangements to have blood drawn later this month for my physical for the adoption. Also have a major G.I. party to get the house ready for the home study on Sunday. Hopefully Donna won't get called into work on Sunday to deal with EDI stuff, but if so we'll cope.

Found new gadget at Walgreen's to help clean. Much like those powered toothbrushes out on the market but bigger. No mold is safe from me now... Ha Ha Haaaaaa.
