Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to AOD we go...

Finished up a rather rough week at work, now off to San Fransisco and the lovely Cathedral Hill Hotel (for the last time... again...) for the 2009 edition of Animation On Display.

If you are in the area, it is a really nice, intimate convention. It isn't too big nor too small and Donna and I have gone the last several years as staff. Look for us in Con Ops.

Of course, we are leaving in the morning... 6 AM in the morning. Meaning we'll be up and going at about 4 AM... (brainz... need brainzzz....) Oh well, we'll have the morning to goof around in SF before getting checked in at around 2. (Nap attack a likely event.)

Looking forward to this in part because we'll get a chance to relax and celebrate Xander's homecoming at the con with a lot of really good friends. I'm not sure if we'll be doing it next year but that will depend on how Xander is adjusting.

Only 4 weeks until we travel. 4 more weeks before we go and meet the son we've been longing to hold for the last year. *sigh* Gee, I'm not excited or anything now am I...

Have camera bag for the trip, will have it with for AOD so I can record stuff.
