kyburg, silverkun, ceolyn and I went to see Heather Alexander last night in Riverside. The room was the converted back of a store and she was seated with us facing back into the store. The reason for that was she was recording for her new album and the back wall was rather... noisy. As it was, we had to wait during the session while some idiots were walking and making noise in the alley.

She does Celtic music which is interesting and in some cases quite bawdy. She performs at SCA functions, Renessance Fairs, Sci Fi conventions and a lot of other venues. If you haven't heard of her, well, I hadn't either, but it is nice music and her voice is very easy to listen too.

One surprise is one of the people in the audience. The moment he walked in, I was thinking, "Don't I know this guy? He looks awfully familiar."

Turns out it is the actor who played Autalicus (<--spelling quite questionable) from the Hercules and Xena television shows. It turns out he's a fan of Heather as well... Go fig... (No, I didn't get an autograph, it was his night off after all... ^^)

Going out to Dave and Busters before taking silverkun and ceolyn back to the airport so they can fly off to Oakland. Must blow shit up!!!

(Sadly, we missed Harry Potter Friday. Ran out of time and traffic was the pits. Will see movie in near future!!!)
