Valentine's Day

unclejimboWell, although neither of us managed to top South Park, Bigger, Longer and Uncut as a Valentine's day present (Okay, Donna and I are a bit bent... Sue us...), all in all I think the day went pretty well.
Got up this morning and I took Donna downstair to see her gtuff on the living room table. (Beeney Baby seal, Chinese puzzle box, candy hearts and The Princess Bride and Patch Adams waiting for her. Donna has told me that she loves puzzle boxes, so when I saw some nice ones at the mall, I just said what the hell...
Even so, she managed to top me by getting the complete Underdog collection. I'm a sucker for old school animation. Underdog wasn't the prettiest or the best, but it was fun... And that counts for a lot.
After work, we went out to the House of Blues in Anaheim for dinner. Think of an R&B version of the Hard Rock Cafe and you get the picture. Food was pretty good but pricey. I'll rate it a 7 out of 10.
Just got home, still waiting for news about our buyer and if they can swing financing. please cross whatever appendages you are comfortable with to help us pull this off this time.
I'm gonna try and make it to Long Beach tomorrow for the protest against the war. We have to wait for the plumber to show, so I don't know if I'll be able to get out of here in time. (The march starts at 11:30 am) Still, I want to be more active about this. Of course what I really need is the time... I barely have enough to keep tabs on LJ... And thankfully I don't have the sheer number of friends that Donna has...
