I don't think there is anything as unpleasant as twisting your ankle. You aren't 'seriously' hurt, but you can't really get up and do anything...

Blahrgh!

Hope your ankle feels better!

I sprained my ankle crossing the street April 2000.

And it still occasionally bothers me... a LOT.

Heck, I hope YOU feel better.

And be careful of the ankle!

ouch *hugs* Um, lets see... foot raised, ice pack on the sprain, rest it for a couple days and avoid putting any weight on it. One of those tight elastic bandage things might be helpful when you do need to move around, give it more support.

yeah... i have the weakest ankles... ever.

i have sprained them about a half a dozen times in my 23 years... all requiring crutches & plaster/elastic splints.

one time i rolled my ankle on the stairs at school like a month into my freshman year of high school. crutches for 3 weeks.
go me.
way to make an entrance.

they make wretched grinding noises when i rotate them too... it's so pretty. and i still always went dancing in heels. heh. yes, yes... i am smart.

anyhoo... i feel your pain!
*passes ice pack*

Obvious warning:

Whatever you did? Don't do that, again.

And have some anti-inflammatories. And a bowl of ice-cream.
