unclejimboWe got a call from Donna's sister tonight. Brad, my brother-in-law, lost his brother Russell to diabetes earlier this evening.

I only met Russell a few times at the holidays. He's been in assisted living for the last 2 years because his physical condition had deteriorated so far he could no longer be cared for at home.
Not a good patient to deal with. Combative and non-compliant. This is probably killing Brad. His mom is most likely a basket case. *sigh*
Donna and I will of course be there to help where we can.
