Weekend Update

unclejimboWork Saturday. Lots of kids trying to be like the big ones on TV.
Thus we had several broken bones. Nothing that can't be fixed, but painful none the less.
Today, went out looking for shelves at IKEA and yard work. Also went into Anaheim to help a friend load up their truck to move to San Diego. One word of advice to those out there planning a move in the future. Load your moving truck (U-Haul, Penske, whatever) like you were playing Tetris. Open spaces are bad and load it up as high as you are. You can fit an awful lot of stuff in a truck that way and will save you several trips.
Talked to an old friend this evening. She says she is going to do what is needed to be able to function as a productive human being. I can only hope that is the case. I've told her what I expect and I will follow up on her. You hear that Nonie? No excuses. Now get to work! Grrr...
