Busy Day...
May. 26th, 2005 09:20 pmWell, at work today, our interns finished their rotation and graduated from the Cypress College Radiography program. Greg, Jennifer, Mandy and Mylan all worked their butts off for the last year and learned a lot. We had a pot-luck lunch today (I brought my deeeelicious green bean casserole) and gave the students a nice send off to begin studying for the ARRT certification test. Nicest thing about GB Casserole, no leftovers! ^^
During the pot-luck, I was called up to recieve a gift because the students selected me and another fellow as the techs who were the most supportive and instructive during their tenure. So now I am the owner of a very nice bottle of French Wine...
Too bad I don't drink... ^^
Well, I'm glad they are finished and will soon be making some really good money working. I know that all of them have accepted positions at Kaiser -- provided they pass their tests. I'm sure they will do fine.
