Nov. 7th, 2007 04:13 pmWell, it's been a day...
Why is it that when I ask people to simply do what they are supposed to do I turn into the 'Bad Guy'? I work in a hospital and we need the documentation to be sure we are doing the right patient, the right procedure, at the right time. I mean WTF, man!
*sigh*
Outside is gray and dreary, marine layer rolling in here in good old coastal SoCal. Keeps the temps down, but it just is not a comforting thing psychologically. Ah, well...
This week is National Radiology Technologist week. So if you know one of us X-Ray guys/gals, be nice to us. Okay. We work hard too and there are only so many colons you can look at and keep your sanity.
kyburg purchased a wireless router for the house. Should be nice... That is once I get a computer that will be compatible with the thing. (My laptop? Sony VAIO 55 MHz... 'Nuf said.)
Just feeling tired. I don't want to do much, but there are only two weeks until Thanksgiving (already?) and 6 weeks until Christmas. No rest, just a never ending line of 'Honey-dos'.
Not much news on the Adoption. Still going to be at least a year. Window now likely Jan-Feb 2009. Stay tuned for more info. Thoughts are now turning to redoing the house. Nice idea, just how the hell do we pay for it? Even with the nice raise I got last month, I don't see us making enough to do this unless I hit the Lotto or something. *sigh*
Is it any wonder I'm having migraines again?
At least we're in the final year of Bush. I am so looking forward to seeing his ass out of the White House. If only we could fit him with some prison wear.

Date: 2007-11-08 12:34 am (UTC)Is it really only two weeks until Thanksgiving? I'd best get the kitchen in shape before then. And see what Robert and I can figure out about making a Thanksgiving meal for two people. Ah, it will work out somehow. Robert and I have each other, and after nearly losing him in August, that's a lot to be thankful for right there, let alone the fact that he's made a full recovery.

Date: 2007-11-08 01:22 am (UTC)If it would turn into rain, I'll be happy, since my allergies are relentless right now.
Sorry to hear about your migraines. Please, let it be the last year fo Shrubbery. I'm so scared he's going to pull a Musharraf here. I've been scared for years, but I really worry now.
At the hospital, hold your ground! :) Hang in there. We're all clinging by our teeth right now.

Date: 2007-11-08 03:08 am (UTC)That's what I am using here, and that will likely be what I use if I bring my laptop with me in 2 weeks. (yeah, EEEK is right)
