Day off, too hot to move.

unclejimboHaven't been on to write much lately. We've had the house in pieces to get repairs made. See earlier rants about the fool who thought we was a plumber for more details.
I've been down the last few weeks with a bug that has caused me to develop a case of bronchitis. Let me tell you, this is truly no fun and the spasm when you cough often make it so you can't breathe. Had one today. Still, it is getting better. From others who had it, I've heard it takes about a month to fully run it's course. Great. About 1-2 weeks left. Ugh.
Work is pretty good. Got huge raise and it looks like I'll be the lead person on our pending house loan.
It's August in California and it is just so hot! 100 degrees here today and most likely will be tomorrow. Lots of wildfires (a California specialty) and just a good day to stay home.
Watched Animal Precinct on Animal Planet. Heartbreaking. A litter of 13 puppies thrown into to garbage and left to die. Only 2 survive. I want to know what happens to these people. They need a nice large fine and some jail time to think things over.
That's about it. Maybe do some writing tomorrow.
