He was a heck of a dancer and never took himself that seriously.

He had a lot of fun on Saturday Night Live the times he was on.

Okay, I never really got into that Dirty Dancing craze, but his performance in Ghost was superb.

You fought the good fight as long as you could after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Gone at 57, but you'll not be forgotten. Take care.

EDIT: 57, I meant 57 ^^... Still too damn young.

Also? My favourite movie of his was To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar.

An old girlfriend of mine loved that movie, because the dancing was so good... long edits in the sequences to show that it was the principals doing the dancing, not fast edits to make it seem like they could (as they did in certain movies starring an actor whose name rhymes with Bravolta...)

One assumes his clip in the Oscar tribute will be from Dirty Dancing or Ghost, and not Dead Presidents!
