Happy New Year!
Jan. 1st, 2009 09:23 amWell, so long 2008.
It was a mixed bag to be sure.
On the up side, we got the referral for our son who we'll go and get in like the next month.
On the down side, the war in Iraq and Afghanistan has continued to cost lives of people who just want to go and live their lives in peace. I just looked at Yahoo and saw the Israel is continuing it's attacks on Gaza and reportedly has killed a top figure of Hamas. Yeah, that'll help. *shakes head*
So welcome 2009! Welcome President Obama. Welcome Xander! Goodbye Shrubya, don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya! Let us all hope that with a new beginning, some sanity will be the rule as opposed to the exception in how we deal with each other.
