Shopping, Soccer and Stuff...

kyburg's sister Diane and meet up with her mom. Initially our plan was to go out to Cabazon and do some shopping at the outlet mall there.
Well, that was before we got pulled into a 4 way Pokemon battle with our niece and nephew, boys vs girls, boys won this time. It was an interesting experience and I discovered I rate higher than Beany Babies with my niece, Elizabeth. Who knew.
kyburg, Diane and mom decided to go out to Clairmont for lunch leaving me and my brother in law, Brad, with the kids. We planned on meeting at Elizabeth's last soccer game. Well, Brad, David (<-- nephew) and I made it out there to see the game. (She lost, sadly 2-1) but it was a lot of fun. The ladies arrived around 2-ish. They arrived just as the game finished up.
Well, we regrouped at Brad and Diane's and headed out to Cabazon with mom. I made the happy discovery that I can wear 34 inch inseams instead of my usual 36. For those out there who are not 6' 4", this is a major find. These days it seems that the "Big and Tall" shops are more geared to the "Big and Fat" crowd. I am not that damn big around and shouldn't have to have my clothes altered just so they will fit.
So anyway, I bought 3 pairs of dress pants and 2 pair of jeans. I haven't had a decent pair of jeans to wear in about 3 years. This is a good thing, even if it means I'm shrinking... ^^
Got home about 10-10:30. We stopped off for dinner and then hit Stader Bros. to get stuff for Thanksgiving which we will be hosting in about 2 weeks. (Thanksgiving already?) We put the groceries away and I fell into a chair to watch the rest of Terminator 3. Better than I thought, Donna doesn't care for the franchise much. Even so, I don't think there will be a Terminator 4 any time soon seeing as Ah-nuld will have his hands full being the Governor... God help us...
Today, I go off to work at 4:30 PM to 1 AM... ~~ Need haircut because MY mom is flying in from Kentucky on Friday. (Yea!) And tommorrow I have to see my doctor for a physical. (Boo!)
